FlowSim Studio’s well data and simulation controls allows you to utilize the robust and intuitive preprocessor for input file creation. The user can monitor the dynamic performance during a simulation using FlowSim Studio. The well data and simulation controls enable large data set support with the use of “include” files and allow you to visualize the input grid without running the simulation to ensure accuracy.
FlowSim Studio allows the user to monitor the simulation results in real-time. This application displays rates, cumulatives and numerical results. Using real-time monitoring the user is able to select and deselect individual plot curves. FlowSim Studio has innovative “tabs” that allow for multiple simulations to be monitored at once. It also allows for online real-time monitoring of simulated reservoir performance and numerical solution progress (such as timesteps).
FlowSim Studio’s 2D mapping allows the user to view 2D cross-sections and individual layers for detailed analysis. This application can also create contour maps to highlight areas of interest and print high resolution images.
FlowSim Studio allows the user to plot graphs on a linear and logarithmic scale. The user of this application can also manipulate the display properties of the plots such as; colors, domain, axis, title, scale, etc. FlowSim Studio’s 2D plotting can plot specific well curves as well as the results from an entire field. You can also create well group plots to analyze results for a group of wells in the reservoir using this application.
FlowSim Studio’s 3D visualization allows you to rotate the simulation grid 360 degrees in every direction. It also allows the user to filter the simulation grid by property values, wells and polygons and visualize well injection and depletion in a time matching animation. FlowSim Studio can create polygons for in-depth study of specific reservoir sections and extract subgrids based on polygons or specific co-coordinate values. The 3D visualization allows a user to view histograms, create cross-plots and perform statistical analysis.
